ADAM ROONEY enjoyed winning promotion from the National League so much that he’s decided to attempt it all over again! The 31-year-old earned his place in Salford City folklore last season after helping the club complete their historic rise to the EFL.
Now the Irishman is looking to make the same impact at Solihull Moors after joining Jimmy Shan’s promotion chasers on a two-year deal.
Rooney arrived in a big-money deal from Aberdeen in July 2018 and struck 23 goals for the Ammies last season as they were promoted via the play-offs.
