Kevin Ellison has seen it all during his three decades in football, but joining an exclusive four-figure club was almost enough to leave the vocal winger lost for words.
The 46-year-old recently became just the 55th player to reach 1,000 senior appearances – standing alonside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and, more recently, his pal Peter Clarke, in reaching the remarkable landmark.
