Pre-season is beginning to drag already

DOES anyone else just want the new season to start now?
We’re roughly halfway through the dreaded pre-season and now that the pain of England’s World Cup semi-final defeat has somewhat subsided, I can’t wait for the opening day in early August.
I’m not one to get excited over the release of the fixtures – most of the time it’s the same old clubs with perhaps a few new grounds thrown in from the clubs coming up or down.
Really, it would be best if pre-season matches were starting now, surely clubs don’t need an entire month and a bit to get ready for...
