AS A Maidstone United fan, I’m still in total shock at the departure of manager Jay Saunders this week.
After steering the club to three promotions in four years and single-handedly orchestrating their climb back into Football League contention, Jay has quite rightly become something of a hero at the Gallagher Stadium and things won’t be the same without him.
