CLEETHORPES Town say the decision to pull out of this year’s FA Trophy due to Covid restrictions was not one the club took lightly.
Dave Smith’s Owls opted to withdraw from the competition after refusing to make yesterday’s second qualifying round trip to City of Liverpool with the region placed into a Tier 3 category lockdown this week.
