SUFFERING a difficult start to the new campaign? Are your team struggling to click into gear as the games come thick and fast? If so, fear not. Instead, spare a thought for Stoke Gabriel FC.
The South West Peninsula Premier East side chave onceded 122 goals in 10 straight defeats – scoring only twice in reply. Last Saturday’s 14-0 home defeat by Plymouth Marjons and Wednesday night’s 15-0 walloping at Axminster Town left officials checking the record books. As it is, their 18-1 humbling by Bovey Tracey set a new league record for away victories.
