New Solihull Moors boss Mark Yates has continued to bolster the National League club’s strength at both ends of the pitch after signing Bristol City goalkeeper Max O’Leary on loan.
The 21-year-old becomes the second acquisition by Yates since his appointment eight days ago having brought in striker Kwame Thomas to Damson Park at the start of the week from Coventry City.
O’Leary’s deal will see him stay with the Moors until 6 January and he could be in line to feature in Saturday’s home match against Gateshead.
He impressed last season on loan at Bath City where he made 26 appearances, as the Romans finished the campaign with the sixth-best defence in the National League South.
Sitting bottom of the National League, Yates spoke of his initiative to get Solihull moving up the table with help from his assistant Tim Flowers.
“It is great to be back doing what I do best. Both Tim and I know that we need points to turn the season around.”
Take a look at the shot-stopping skills you are getting, Moors fans…
