THE Non-League fraternity has joined in mourning after popular player, manager and coach Gordon Boateng passed away this week.
The former Bishop’s Stortford, Northwood, Bedford Town, Barking and Cheshunt boss was described as a “brilliant motivator” and “one of the nicest people in football”.
Boateng’s former clubs and teammates took to social media to pay tribute this week with each united in their respect and admiration for the man nicknamed ‘The Gaffer’.
