MAIDENHEAD United chairman Peter Griffin believes the National League have no alternative but to continue playing amid the Omicron variant wave.
The Covid-hit Magpies had to withdraw from their FA Trophy fixture with Maidstone United yesterday – as did Chesterfield in their third round tie against Guiseley.
Over half of the fixtures in the Football League this weekend were postponed while Premier League clubs will meet tomorrow to discuss a potential break to the season following a number of cancelled matches.
