SOUTHERN LEAGUE vice-chairman Anthony Hughes says Merthyr Town are determined to keep playing despite the Welsh Government banning fans from watching all sports.
National League Wrexham are also affected by the ruling that comes into effect from today and will be reviewed on January 7.
Since the announcement, guidance has changed to allow 50 people to attend but there has been widespread frustration in Wales with theatres, cinemas and pubs still open with the rule of six.
