DIARY OF A GROUND HOPPER: Stanway Rovers 2-4 Saffron Walden Town

I’M of the impression that I will be flying solo today so, with that in mind, I pick a ground or two that everyone else seems to have done that I still need: Gloucester City or Slimbridge. However, late Friday evening, The Fox contacts me: “I will grace you with my presence after all”.

I’M of the impression that I will be flying solo today so, with that in mind, I pick a ground or two that everyone else seems to have done that I still need: Gloucester City or Slimbridge. However, late Friday evening, The Fox contacts me: “I will grace you with my presence after all”.
Flicking through The NLP fixtures page, Hullbridge Sports seems a suitable venue but when I check on Twitter I find they are playing tonight and the game has been switched to Brentwood. That’s that one out, then!
