TONBRIDGE Angels hope to be the latest club to install a 3G pitch after submitting a planning application for a host of improvements at Longmead Stadium.
The National League South club anticipates the total cost of the project to be around £600,000, which also includes new energy efficient floodlights, dugouts and both 11-a-side and 5-a-side goals.
Tonbridge are seeking some grant aid funding to help with the cost while much of the remaining finance is to come through various local partnerships.
