INTERIM ROLE: Wayne Brown

MALDON & Tiptree have allowed manager Wayne Brown to become interim head coach at Colchester United for a second time.
The 44-year-old, who played over 120 times for the U’s, has taken the reigns following the departure of Hayden Mullins.
Brown also took temporary charge at the League Two club last year when Maldon’s season was ended due to the pandemic.
It is his third spell as caretaker at Colchester having first taken over in 2015 when he was the U18 manager before he became their U23 boss.
