HARRIS GETS MARTYRS GIG

FANS’ favourite Matthew Harris has been promoted to interim player/manager at Merthyr Town following the departure of Dean Clarke this week.
Clarke was axed alongside assistant Steve Williams with the Welsh club bottom of Southern Premier South division, 18 points from safety.
Midfielder Harris, who is a UEFA ‘B’ licence coach, has agreed to take over on a temporary basis and will be assisted by Craig Reddy, who returns to Penydarren Park having spent the 2017-18 season with the club.
