ANDY BURGESS says he now faces “11 cup finals” in order to cement his status as an AFC Rushden & Diamonds legend.
Burgess, who made 333 appearances for the original club as a player, has been appointed as the phoenix club’s interim first-team manager until the end of the season.
The 40-year-old turned out for the likes of Luton Town, Mansfield Town and Oxford United in a well-respected playing career, which also saw him represent England C between 2007 and 2009.
