CHAIRMAN James Lawson reckons Ramsgate have landed a coup in new manager Steve Lovell.
The former Gillingham and Welling United boss has agreed to lead the Kent club’s bid for promotion after Matt Longhurst resigned following a fourth straight defeat against Cray Valley PM last Saturday.
Lovell, 61, was in caretaker charge of the League One Gills as recently as Janury 31 before Neil Harris was appointed Priestfield chief.
