Clubs’ crowds are healthier than ever

I WOULD like to respond to Matt Bryant’s letter (Fans’ Forum, May 1) where he suggests summer football will address a general trend of falling attendences over the years.
My opinion is that fans are beginning to see the quality and value for money they are getting by watching Non-League football.
For instance, my club Leatherhead, can boast their best average attendance for over 40 years – and that’s with the club being rooted to the bottom of the Isthmian Premier Division all season.
As for summer football, we generally get plenty of that too.
