EAGLE SWOOPS TO MAIN

RUSS Eagle has taken the manager’s job at Northern Counties East Premier Division outfit Maltby Main with former chairman Wilf Race returning to the position that he relinquished last September.
Eagle, the former Handsworth manager, comes in for John Stancliffe who resigned after their 3-0 defeat to Worksop Town in the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup final. Chairman Dave Watts later followed suit.
Watts said “I thank everyone for their support during the season and wish Wilf all the best now he has returned to the club.”
