THEY’VE got one of the most envied scouting networks in world football so when Premier League Brentford come calling, you generally follow.
Not so for talented young playmaker Todd Parker, however – he is plotting his pathway to the top via a very different route.
The 20-year-old midfielder has turned down a contract with the west London club and has kept a number of circling Championship managers dangling by signing a new one-year deal at Southern Premier Central side Hednesford Town, where he feels his blossoming career will be best served for now.
