DEREK Sweetman has stepped down from his second spell as manager of Combined Counties Premier North strugglers Holyport after seven years at the helm.
Holyport were reprieved from relegation after ending second from bottom on goal difference.
Sweetman will now take an ambassadorial role at the club.
A Holyport statement said: “The club is delighted that Derek has accepted the role as ambassador.
This will mean Derek can enjoy the games from the stands with less stress and also get out on the golf course as and when he would like.”
