Angry Millers appeal switch to the East

Carlton Town will appeal the decision of the Football Association to move them to the Northern Premier East League.

CARLTON TOWN will appeal the decision of the Football Association to move them to the Northern Premier East League.
The Millers finished just outside the play-off places in NPL Midlands last season but have been shuffled across to make way for this year’s intake of promoted Step 5 clubs.
In a statement, chairman Mick Garton said: “In my 20-plus years as chairman, I have never received such negative feedback to an announcement.
“It has been one of the finest seasons in the club’s history and the positivity surrounding the club has been amazing.
