CHESTERFIELD manager Paul Cook knows to expect ‘a very competitive game’ against FC Halifax Town – but is backing the Spireites’ fanbase to help get them over the line, writes KURT BIGG.
The Spireites limped over the line to squeeze into the play-off spots with last Sunday’s goalless draw with Woking seeing off the strong challenge of Dagenham & Redbridge.
But Cook insists the knockout campaign heralds the start of a clean slate and is champing at the bit to lock horns with the Shaymen.
