“QUITE simply, it was win or bust.” This is the stark assessment of Ipswich Wanderers chairman Stephen Boyle when looking back at the season.
The Suffolk club held their nerve in a tantalising title race with Buckhurst Hill to lift the Eastern Counties Division One South trophy and seal a return to Step 5, but the stakes couldn’t have been any higher.
