AFC ARE CLAIMED BY FEARN

NORTHERN Counties East Premier outfit AFC Mansfield have been bought by North of England Football Academy.
The Rotherham-based organisation – formed in 2016 to provide educational and career opportunities for their players and coaches and are in partnership with Notts County – have acquired a 92% stake in the Forest Town Stadium club.
The academy and now the club are jointly owned by former Maltby Main and Frickley Athletic manager Spencer Fearn and Ryan McKnight, who at 30 became chief executive of Stockport County – the youngest ever CEO at a professional club....
