LEATHERHEAD have accepted that they will not be getting a relegation reprieve this summer.
When Southern League Premier South outfit Walton Casuals folded last week, Luke Tuffs’ Tanners thought they would be next in line for a reprieve. The Isthmian Premier outfit had finished third bottom.
But it was Merthyr Town, who had finished second bottom of Southern League Premier South, who got the nod.
The reason given was that it was due to a change in regulations.
