ROGER Reed says he is ‘greatly honoured’ to have joined a select group by becoming an Isthmian League life member.
The accolade was bestowed at last weekend’s annual meeting in Brighton when Reed stepped down as a board member after almost two decades’ service across two spells.
In the entire history of the league, founded in 1905, only a small group of officials have ever been made life members, including former FIFA president Sir Stanley Rous.
