PLAYERS DOUBLE UP

TOOLSTATION Western Premier outfit Helston Athletic have agreed a player deal with South West Peninsula Premier West neighbours Penzance.
The new partnership will see players sign dual forms with both clubs, giving
Helston’s 16 to 18 years old the opportunity to play first team football each week rather than turn out for their St Piran League reserve side at a lower level of the pyramid.
Also, Penzance players will have the chance to play one step above for Helston, whose director of football Steve Massey described it as a win-win situation for both clubs.
