STRIKER Clayton Donaldson has signed for Gainsborough Trinity after being released by York City. Donaldson helped the Minstermen win promotion to the National League last season, netting 14 goals in all competitions to finish the campaign as their top scorer. But the 38-year-old former Birmingham City striker has now dropped down to the NPL Premier Division side who are managed by his former York City team-mate Neal Bishop.
