RIVALS UNITE AS CROWD TROUBLE ERUPTS

STOURBRIDGE and Halesowen Town have issued a joint statement condemning the crowd trouble which forced their charity game to be abandoned at half-time on Thursday night. Police were forced to step in and call a halt to proceedings following allegations of flares and beer glasses being thrown into the Halesowen end during the second leg of the Brookes-Clark Charity Shield at Stourbridge’s Memorial Ground.
