THE landscape of Sunday League football in London has changed dramatically with the formation of a so-called “Super League”, which will start next month.
Officially known as the Sunday Football League – London, this has been instigated by teams who have become globally renowned thanks to the huge impact of filming and broadcasting their matches online. For example, SE Dons FC have a massive 222,000 YouTube subscribers.
The new league tell me that they have been approved by the London Football Association with a catchment area of 12 miles from Central London.
