BEFORE heading off on a 21- year Football League career, Kevin Ellison learnt the ins and outs of the game from a Non-League legend: Mark ‘Mad Dog’ Maddox.
“He was a Non-League hard knock at the time,” Ellison, the former Tranmere, Chester City, Rotherham, Morecambe and Newport County winger, tells The NLP. “They used to say he’d tackle his nan!
