IT’S Friday night and Ben Herd is gathering his things from his Hertford Town manager’s office ready for the following day’s trip to AFC Dunstable when something catches the corner of his eye.
“I was just about to close the door and I looked down at the mobile defibrillator on the floor next to me,” the Blues player-boss recalls.
“I did a double take. We don’t always take it to away games so I shut the door and went to turn away but something told me to go back so I opened the door again and grabbed it.”
