ALEX FROST has acclaimed the part played by everybody at Avro to overhaul a record for successive clean sheets at the start of a season.
The 4-0 thrashing of Longridge last Monday was the sixth game in which the Oldham outfit have shut out the opposition in a North West Counties League fixture – totalling some nine hours of playing time. That improves on a league best previously set by Congleton.
