RA support gave me the perfect platform

I WANTED to write in reply to the articles from the Referees’ Association in The NLP in recent weeks.
I joined the Medway branch in Kent in the late 1960s having just passed my referees’ exam and if it was not for the support I received from the RA then I don’t know if I would have progressed as far as I did.
Being able to talk and interact with other referees gave me a lot of confidence and added to my enjoyment of the game.
