FORMER Derby County forward Jamie Ward has been drafted in as interim manager of Ilkeston Town following the shock departure of Martin Carruthers.
The 36-year-old Northern Ireland international enjoyed a glittering playing career, representing Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest in the Championship as well as the Rams.
Now he’s ready to try his hand at management after he originally signed for the Robins as a player over the summer.
