ELLISON IS WHITE MAN IN CHARGE

MICHAEL Ellison says the opportunity to manage Widnes was one he couldn’t turn down.
The former Runcorn Linnets and City of Liverpool boss, who has taken charge of over 100 games in the Northern Premier League, has replaced Dave Dempsey in the Whites’ hotseat.
Ellison, a former Runcorn player, cut his managerial teeth at Linnets in August 2016 and led them to the North West Counties Premier Division title.
