PURPS PICK UP A COUP IN ELLISON

CITY OF Liverpool boss Paul McNally reckons he has landed a major coup in veteran Kevin Ellison.
The 43-year-old has joined the Purps from Warrington Rylands, who have just dispensed with manager Dave McNabb.
Striker Ellison has enjoyed a stellar career in the Football League, amassing over 800 appearances in his career before leaving League Two side Newport County at the end of last season.
He becomes McNally’s third signing since joining the club earlier this month and got off to the perfect start, scoring and assisting two on debut in yesterday’s 2-3...
