HAYDEN BIRD says he is joining a club with “massive potential” in Leatherhead.
The former Merstham and Kingstonian boss was drafted in by the Tanners following the resignation of Luke Tuffs this week, citing “differences” with chairman Mick Sullivan.
Bird takes over at Fetcham Grove to rescue a disappointing start to the Isthmian South Central season which brought just one win from their opening seven matches.
