LITHERLAND Remyca admitted one of their players used a false identity in an FA Vase tie and have been thrown out of this year’s competition.
The Merseyside club have been barred from next season’s edition too, a punishment that means they won’t be able to enter the FA Cup either. They don’t intend to appeal.
“I’m sorry to everybody who has been let down,” said Don Rimmer, Litherland’s chairman.
