IT’S A ‘NO’ FOR A SHAKE-UP!

A VOTE to merge two Bury fan groups has narrowly failed to get the required support for the green light.
The proposal would have seen the Shakers Community Society – who set-up Bury AFC and entered the National League System – unite with Bury Football Club Supporters Society (BFCSS) who earlier this year purchased Gigg Lane – former home of Bury FC, the club thrown out of the EFL in 2019 before going into administration – and the club’s assets.
