FORMER Fulham and Leyton Orient striker George Georgiou has been appointed as the new manager of Spartan South Midlands Premier strugglers Colney Heath. George, 50, also played for King’s Lynn, Dagenham & Redbridge and Purfleet, where he held the scoring record of 109 goals in 206 games, and spent six years in Cyprus.
