CANN THE MAN FOR HAMMERS

SOUTHERN League Division One South club Hamworthy United have appointed Dan Cann as their player-manager.
Cann re-joined the club for a second spell in the summer and replaces Tim Sills after he left to take charge of Dorset neighbours Wimborne Town.
The 36-year-old striker will be joined in the Hammers’ dugout by teammate Steve Devlin, who comes in as assistant manager. Sean Leadbitter continues as coach.
The Hammers won promotion to Step 4 for the first time in their history last summer after winning the Wessex League Premier.
