STRIKER SCHO IS IN AS BOSS

GOOLE AFC have appointed Joshua Schofield as interim player-manager.
Striker Schofield, in his sixth season with the Vikings, was handed the reins after co-bosses Mike Carmody and Alan Jackson quot following last Saturday’s 7-0 home defeat to Garforth Town, a result which left them in the bottom two of the Northern Counties East League Premier.
Schofield previously played for Ossett Town, Armthorpe Welfare and Lincoln United and Staveley Miners Welfare, from where he moved to Goole in 2017.
