NEIL BAKER says the time was right for him and joint-manager Jon Underwood to step down from the Slough Town helm – and he’s backing caretaker Scott Davies to be their permanent replacement.
The management duo have resigned after a successful nine-and-a-half years at the Rebels where they’ve taken the club from Step 4 to the National League South.
