SAMMY Moore says it was the “huge project” at Faversham Town which prompted him to swap an Isthmian Premier title race for a Step 4 relegation battle.
Moore caused shockwaves this week after leaving the hotseat at Premier Division leaders Potters bar Town for Faversham, who sit rock bottom of Isthmian South East.
The 35-year-old former Brentford, Stevenage and Dover Athletic player is local to Faversham and says he was impressed with the ambition of the Kent club under chairman Gary Smart.
