Former Premier League star is back home to roost

COMEBACK: Matt Taylor

FORMER Premier League ace Matt Taylor has come out of retirement – to return to boyhood club Abingdon United.
Three years after hanging up his boots, the 41-year-old is back at the club where he started his career at the age of 16 before making the move to Luton Town.
From there, left-back Taylor went on to make over 200 appearances for Portsmouth, helping the club to promotion in 2003.
He also played in the Premier League for-Bolton Wanderers, West Ham and Burnley, as well as Football League clubs Northampton and Swindon.
