MOVE: Kyle Storer

KYLE STORER bowed out after making a landmark 200th appearance for Solihull Moors and told them “it’s been a pleasure and an honour”.

The 35-year-old ended his five-year stay at the ARMCO Arena this week to join their Southern Premier Central neighbours Nuneaton Borough.

And in a long statement to club fans, the popular club captain said: “It’s been some journey. To the pitch, it’s been a pleasure and an honour for every manager to allow me to captain the side and lead a special group of players.

“The dressing room is the hardest thing to walk away from, but I leave with very good memories. On and off the pitch it was a pleasure to be called your skipper.”

Boss Neal Ardley said: “Kyle has given the club outstanding service and has been an incredible captain for me over the past 18 months. We’re sad to lose him.”
