SILKMEN FINISH PHASE 1 IN STYLE

FLINT Town United finished Phase 1 of the Cymru Premier with a flourish as they spanked Pontypridd United 4-1 in the closing round of fixtures.
Two goals in three minutes in the first half sent Flint into a lead they never lost. Zack Clarke got the opener and Jean-Louis Akpa-Akpro added a quickfire second.
The second half was dominated by teenage talent Clarke as he went on to notch a hat-trick in his first senior game for the club Joe Evans grabbed a consolation score for the visitors.
