Whing rallying for County FA shake-up

Banbury United boss Andy Whing has called for county cup rules to be relaxed after being forced to forfeit a midweek tie to protect his walking wounded.
Whing pulled the plug after 90 minutes of Tuesday’s home clash with Easington Sports in the Oxfordshire Senior Cup after learning that his threadbare side would have to play extra-time.
The twice-postponed tie had initially been due to take place on Tuesday, January 31 but Banbury’s FA Trophy clash with Coalville Town, called off three times due to weather, took priority. The weathe...
