It’s so nice to go Beck to basics

HERE’S a rarity. A football club that doesn’t react incredulously when you proffer not a card, but a £10 note at the turnstiles; a well-prepared grass pitch; produces a programme that provides an hour or so of thoroughly readable material in the pub after the game; and has over the tannoy someone who speaks as if she’s not late for a train and every word is audible.
Well done to Beckenham Town.
